South Lake Brewing Company is the south shore's community brewery: a production craft brewery on Lake Tahoe Boulevard with a large indoor taproom, an outdoor beer garden, and a food truck handling the kitchen. A second outpost, the Libation Lodge, pours in the Tahoe Village Center closer to the state line.
For bach crews and casual wedding-week gatherings it hits the unpretentious note the casino corridor can't: pitchers in the beer garden, an afternoon that costs taproom prices, and event hosting available for groups that want a corner reserved. Pair it with a beach morning and the day plans itself.
