Good to Know

Reservations are the rule now

Tahoe's famous outdoors is managed access in peak season: Sand Harbor's parking reservations sell out for summer days, and Emerald Bay's lots fill by mid-morning. Put booking links in your wedding website, not just names.

The lake is cold — say so

Even in August the water rarely breaks 68°F, and June swimmers meet snowmelt. Guests who know this pack accordingly and love it; guests who don't, don't. One line on the wedding website saves the day.
