Truckee Wedding Venues

Truckee is the region's mountain town proper: a still-working railroad main street of brick storefronts, serious restaurants, and Sierra history, fifteen minutes uphill from the lake. Around it orbit the big mountain venues — Northstar's mid-mountain lodges, golf-club campuses in the pines, and event barns along the Truckee River — plus Donner Lake, the small blue understudy that photographs like a secret. Guests get the easiest airport run on the lake (Reno is 35 minutes down I-80) and a downtown made for the night before the wedding.
