The Lodge Restaurant & Pub anchors Tahoe Donner — the huge homeowners' amenity district in the pines above Truckee — and its wedding program publishes what most venues make you pry out: the Sage Room seats 30, the Alder Room 55, the outdoor Grotto 75, and the remodeled Pavilion over the golf course runs events from 100 to 200 guests, with full-lodge buyouts in the same range.
A second venue, the Alder Creek Adventure Center, trades fairways for meadow: floor-to-ceiling windows facing Hawks Peak, a patio over the grass, and capacities of 85 outside or 120 combined. Both run on the Lodge's own kitchen — an award-winning restaurant operation — with pricing quoted through the association's events office.
